• loads of tea, coffee, soft drinks and nibbles

 

You’ll learn everything you need to know to get started with modern hand embroidery. You’ll learn about needles, threads, hoops, fabric, transferring designs to fabric, backing and finishing your hoops.

You’ll also learn some basic stitches and a few more technical ones. And putting these together you’ll create a beautiful embroidery piece including text and flowers and foliage.  Some of the stitches we will cover include back stitch, lazy daisy, French and colonial knots and woven roses. 

This workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to learn hand embroidery. Or anyone who already knows and just wants to enjoy a relaxing day of stitching in a group of fellow crafters.
